Drilling History, Well Testing and Geomechanical Analysis
Analysis of these will allow characterizing the stress boundary conditions in an existing well and the reservoir, identifying adverse conditions for drilling and completion of a new or existing well.
In situ Stress Estimation
The Vertical, Maximum and Minimum Stresses gradient and orientation are estimated in order to clarify the level of existing confining stresses in the reservoir of direct impact in drilling, completion and production operations.
Pore pressure and Fracture Gradient Estimation
Predicting pore pressure is critical within the well planning process. Based on the available data (well test, minifrac, leak of test, integrity test, drilling history,) and geophysical-geomechanical analysis, It would be estimated with techniques including:
1. Log-based tendencies methods (Resistivity, Sonic, Porosity).
2. Pore pressure prediction from geophysical-geomechanical analisys
