GENERATION OF A 3D RESERVOIR PROPERTIES MODEL 
 
A 3D critical reservoir properties model is constructed. In this way we build a deterministic 3D volume in agreement with well data, geological, sedimentological and petrophysical pattern as well as depositional framework:

  1. Lithology, porosity, permeability, fluids estimation between the wells. 
  2. GEOLOIL image improvement and attributes analysis to establish smaller faults, in imperceptible with the traditional approach.  
  3. Generation of preliminary maps of oil reserves. 
  4. Prediction of secondary porosity and permeability system using Acoustic Inversion.

With GeoTechnology’s Techniques it is possible to improve the results obtained by the classic geostatistic, which constitutes an invaluable tool in exploration and production activities.

In this case because of the lack of control well it is difficult to make a coherent merge with GEOLOIL data. A coherent 3D volume of any property it is generated: lithology, porosity, permeability, fractured pattern or just the geometry of the sand bodies automatically generated from GEOLOIL data :

    • Feasibility study using rock physics in order the find the best information (Vp, Vs, Density) and their real relationship and significance with the reservoir properties (Net gross, Net pay, porosity, etc).
    • GEOLOIL Multi-attribute Analysis for fluid saturation and lithology discrimination, It’s obtained from GEOLOIL inversion attach to rock physics and well logs.
    • Spectral decomposition: This is a high GEOLOIL technology which allows highlighting structural and stratigraphic elements with slow GEOLOIL resolution.
