IDENTIFICATION OF FIELD OPPORTUNITIES BY RESERVOIR/FIELD SCREENING

The geological, geophysical and petrophysical data will be integrated to produce a detailed 3D static reservoir model that will be used in Reservoir  “Screening”  by the last generation of reservoir modeling software, GeolOil designed “in-house”  for the GeotechnologyLA specialists.

The advantage of this technology it is that user can manipulate not only static but dynamic data,  pressures, GOR trends and water cuts for the reservoir, by region, by well, permeabilities, fault transmissibilities among others. Then it’s possible to find out the best scenerio for production, without performing the time-consuming  Reservoir Simulation.

All this data will be introduced in the modeling software GeolOil to assess the future performance of the field with the selected development scenario:

• Infill drilling
• New opportunities areas and undrained/isolated layers to produce.
• Identification of the optimum rate oil productions, and pressure.
• Horizontal well drilling.
• New candidates to operations to Fracturing, Stimulation techniques, to increase production.
